– Bring a piece of ancient history to your bookshelf with these two exquisite petrified wooden bookends.
– They are an impressive Arizonian red home décor piece, complete with intricate white and blue highlights.

Sourced from Milky Ranch in 2001, the extinct Araucarioxylon pine tree has fossilized over 220 million years to transform its biological matter into solid stone. Perfectly polished on both sides, the prehistoric tree’s biological matter has been transformed into dark rustic red tones caused by iron oxide.

On close inspection, you can enjoy glimpses of white from silica dioxide and blue from copper and manganese. In addition, each bookend showcases the beautifully preserved annual tree rings, offering a tangible glimpse into a prehistoric world.

The two bookends are 7 inches wide by 8 inches tall and 3 inches thick.
