Striking – Amazing Reds

This petrified pine (Araucarioxylon) was excavated from Paulsell Ranch, Arizona in 2010. Over the last 220 million years, the pine’s organic material has been replaced by solid minerals such as iron oxides, manganese oxides, carbon, chromium, copper, cobalt and silicon dioxide, to perfectly preserved this extinct tree

A long specimen measuring 9” X 41”, it is best suited to be a hallway table, countertop, or coffee table. Alternatively, the Arizonian board could be admired as a wall-mounted art piece in a lobby or grand living space

In addition to the glorious display of colors, the board has been perfectly cut and polished to showcase the longitudinal biological patterns of this prehistoric tree. What a marvellous specimen that is not only an exceptional décor accessory but also has the ability to connect you to the dawn of time (the Triassic era).
