The extinct Araucarioxylon pine species was unearthed in 2018 at Dobell Ranch in Arizona. Through luck and time, the 220-million-year-old pine had the perfect conditions to fossilize this tree into stone.

At first glance, you will be struck by the richness of the colors that swirl around the tabletop. Along with the classic Arizonian reds, the petrified round board also possesses warm maroons and elegant strokes of rusty creams which add a lovely brightness to the board. Incredibly, the tabletop lacks any fractures, providing a pure and clean slate to study the endless biological detail. What a privilege it is to place your hand on the heart of the board and trace your fingers over the rings that radiate from the center.

This unmissable table is 35 inches by 45.1 inches and 15 inches tall. Complete with a modern aluminum base it could serve as an excellent coffee table or side table.
