The solid petrified wood board was sourced from Arizona – an area known to create splendid mahoganies and Shiraz reds colors in the fossilized woods. The giant pine tree was excavated from Paulsell’s Ranch in 2010 before being professionally cut and polished to showcase all the mysteries and secrets that lay within this 220-million-years-old extinct tree.

With so much to uncover, the petrified wood specimen will ignite your imagination as you touch the preserved specimen that lived during the Triassic era.

Of note is the unique blend of colors that softly meander across this impressive board. From golden shimmers, warm crèmes, and hazel browns, to deep Arizonian mahoganies and Shiraz reds – this specimen has it all.  The biological patterns are also satisfying as they are perfectly balanced. The markings are mirrored across the length of the board, making this specimen truly exceptional and unlike anything else you have seen.
