The fossilized pine tree was first unearthed in a region well-known for producing the highest-quality specimens. Uncovered on Dobell Ranch Arizona in 2020 it is estimated to be 220 million years old. One can only imagine the excitement when the pine tree was expertly cut open, revealing the extensive spectrum of colors and exquisite patterns that had remained locked away for millennia.
This stone table boasts a bouquet of contrasting colors and detail rarely seen so vividly in a single sample. The stone tabletop contains very bright burgundy reds often seen in Arizonian petrified wood specimens. Traversing across the board is a tapestry of creamy clay hues and gentle opal whites which are juxtapositioned by the carbon black strokes. Most captivating of all is the tree rings that wave out from the center.
